A local manufacturer had secured a contract that resulted in a new production facility, 3 additional production lines, and over 100% increase in staff. Their existing HR department was unable to effectively meet the challenge. We provided an on-site HR executive who reorganized the department, instituted an effective recruiting program, a new electronic timekeeping system, and a modified job description and compensation program. In addition to handling a myriad of employee relations issues, a new HR Director was recruited.
