A MEDICAL FACILITY PROMOTED AN EMPLOYEE

A medical facility promoted an employee with several years experience to an executive level position. The employee was not aware that the facility conducts a background investigation on people promoted to these positions. The background check revealed that none of the information in the employees resume was accurate, including multiple college degrees, professional licensing requirements, etc. The employee was terminated.
