BIOGRAPHY
Spanning a period of more than 25 years, Libby has become one of Michigan’s foremost specialists in Workers Compensation and Integrated Disability Management. She was responsible for developing a nationally recognized program during her principal career at Steelcase Inc. Her responsibilities included managing claims administrators and medical personnel as well as integrating the services of various vendors to reduce costs and improve employee relations.
Libby's recognition as an expert at the state level and her knowledge of the regulations provided her frequent interaction with senior level State of Michigan regulators. She has become an instructor at Michigan State University and held various leadership positions on state associations focused self-insured organizations throughout Michigan. Libby’s understanding of the regulatory environment has allowed her to be involved in selection of Magistrates at the State level.
Libby continues to be involved in a wide variety of organizations through her roles in consulting and her Presidential appointment at the federal level to the “Ticket-to-Work” panel.
