BIOGRAPHY
Bob has over thirty-five years of healthcare experience, leading organizations in new directions, profitable growth, and improved quality. He most recently held positions as Executive Vice President of Growth Strategies, and Chief Financial Officer for Metro Health Corporation. He previously was the Director, Medical Services Administration for the Michigan Department of Community Health and was President and Chief Executive Officer, of Blue Care Network - Great Lakes, a HMO with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Project REHAB, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Manager of Audit and Tax Services for Grant Thornton, formerly Alexander Grant and Company.
Bob has served as Board member and Chairperson of many organizations, most notably, the Governor's Commission on Substance Abuse, the Governor’s Long Term Care Workgroup, the National Association of State Medicaid Directors, the United Way of Kent County and Kalamazoo, and the Therapeutic Communities of America. He has also been a Lecturer, at F.E. Seidman Graduate College of Business Administration, Grand Valley State University, and Western Michigan University School of Health.
